*The Story of Ashab-e-Kahf - The People of the Cave* * The story of *Ashab-e-Kahf* is mentioned in *Surah Al-Kahf, verses 9-26* of the Holy Quran. It is one of the greatest signs of Allah’s power over time, life, and death. --- *1. The Full Story* Centuries ago, in a city ruled by a tyrant king who forced people to worship idols, there lived *7 young men* who believed in One Allah. The Quran calls them "Fitya" - youth with strong faith. > *Arabic:* > *إِذْ أَوَى الْفِتْيَةُ إِلَى الْكَهْفِ فَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا آتِنَا مِن لَّدُنكَ رَحْمَةً وَهَيِّئْ لَنَا مِنْ أَمْرِنَا رَشَدًا* > *Translation:* _"When the young men retreated to the cave, they said, 'Our Lord, grant us mercy from Yourself and guide us to the right course in our affair.'"_ To save their faith, they fled the city and took refuge in a cave.
